Drama serials and comedies glaze teenage pregnancy with a sugar coating, making everything look easy breezy. 16 and Pregnant does no such thing; it gives you an inside look on how these young people, still in their teens cope with them. Or do they?

Last week, I had the opportunity to sit in on a dialogue that discussed relevant issues on teenage pregnancy in conjunction with MTV’s new reality show, 16 and Pregnant.

Hello! I shake you warmly by the hand. It’s awesome meeting you guys. I’m delirious with ecstasy at this opportunity – who would have thought writing an article about camel toes would land me this awesome job? (Thank you Marketing Tutor! I toasted my first blogging-attempt for MTV Asia with some sparkling grape juice; I needed the inspiration. Readers will no longer just be from my personal circle, it’s much bigger this time (hopefully), and without a doubt, more exciting.
