In my opinion, this was the best episode ever!

Throughout the whole episode, my tear ducts were acting up and I had goose bumps all over!

Catelyn looks so innocent and sweet while Tyler looks like a punk. You can see it through his eyes he is really a rebel at heart. However, I never expected him to be so understanding and loving towards Cateyln and the decision they had to make.

This definitely tops the list. Both mom and daughter are preggers at the same time! Imagine my face when I first saw two women, instead of one pregnant! On top of that, it seems Grandma is taking care of 2 kids at the same time!

One word for this episode? DRAMA between parent and child.

Ebony had such huge dreams, joining the Airforce and all. However, due to her pregnancy and certain regulations, that dream ended before it even began.

“It’s your fault.”

In this episode, Gary, the Dad to be was a major turn off at the start with him pushing all responsibility away by blaming Amber and being plain immature.

To which Amber replied, “Do you know why this happened? It is because you said you don’t like condoms, and I was too stupid to make you wear one” Come on! Two hands to clap?

“We took most of the precautions” Dude, like seriously? Giving excuses is bad enough. But that was just lame!

I cannot stress enough on how important contraception is. If you are going to do it, Protect yourself. I mean, stand up and take the initiative!

Despite money being tight, he happily blew 500 bucks on a PS3!

This episode, we have Farrah, a popular and pretty cheerleader with huge dreams, who was confronted with so many issues when she became pregnant. You would think because she was popular and part of a team of cheerleaders, she would have a huge support system…

WRONG.

Drama serials and comedies glaze teenage pregnancy with a sugar coating, making everything look easy breezy. 16 and Pregnant does no such thing; it gives you an inside look on how these young people, still in their teens cope with them. Or do they?

Last week, I had the opportunity to sit in on a dialogue that discussed relevant issues on teenage pregnancy in conjunction with MTV’s new reality show, 16 and Pregnant.
