So I realize I have been writing a lot about my heart and my boring melodramatic emotions, so today I will write about one of my favorite bands.

Guys, meet Evaline. I met these guys last year at Music Matters right here in Singapore. Knowing me, I don’t check out bands till I watch them live and I heard they were playing a show. All my friends were crazy excited about it so I figured I’d go check it out. And yeah, my friends have good taste. They were ridiculously good.

I then saw them again in Manila at MTV Exit with Jay Park and Jason Mraz. This time on a much bigger stage. The energy was there, and when they started to play, the ground kind of started to move. They are by far one of my favorite live acts. I wish everyone could see them live.

We hung out a bit after their shows and they’re amazing people. Super down to earth. I guess people I feel comfortable around, which isn’t that often in my case. We had waffles and pancakes together, that is a possible bonding factor. Yummy!

A few months ago, during Christmas, I was going through a really hard time and I started listening to a lot of Evaline, and their lyrics just made so much sense to me at the time. I’d type it out here, but then after reading all my past posts, we all know that I can go easy on the “emotional expression.” But yeah, they had a song that said “Step away from my lips/ Step away from my throat/ If you need me let me know.” YEAHHHHH.
