I was in a mall and heading towards the grocery store. I was about to enter the grocery store when I saw a beautiful girl walking towards me. Actually we were both walking towards each other so I tried to step left to avoid her but she moved in the same direction, and then I tried to step right but then again, she moved in the same direction, until it was like we were doing an awkward dance! And suddenly, she grabbed my shoulder, held it tight and said, “Please let me pass” and started laughing. After that conversation we went our separate ways but I was really attracted to her. I was looking at her as she walked away – Her hair’s sweet smell, her sparkly eyes and her long legs! I was so distracted that I didn’t notice I was approaching a wall post causing me to hit my head and landed on my bum! (PS. Landing on my bum caused me excruciating pain.) The girl ran towards me and asked, “Are you okay?” When I saw her, I stood up immediately and pretended that nothing happened. She asked me again, “Are you really okay?” and she pointed her finger at my forehead and it was then I realised that I was bleeding. Luckily the girl was studying medicine and treated my injury. I am thankful for that incident because since then, the girl and I went to a relationship. Who knew love at first sight could hurt like that? – Richard Kent Burton, Philippines
