Greetings from the beautiful country smaller than manhattan bigger than burbank + without any bubble gum on the sidewalks – Singapore!
About to go on stage and play our first show in Asia since 2007. Where have we been? Prison, yes, but besides that time does fly.

Thanks a mill to everyone in Australia and New Zealand for coming out and making those some of the craziest crowds we’ve ever had. I think I saw chopper in the mosh pit. Careful with those ears kids they’re still a bit sensitive.

The best news this week was waking up to find that we are nominated for FOUR MTV VMA’s!!!
(FOUR!!!) INSANE IN DA MEMBRANE. Totally unexpected. My first words were basically. HOLYF***INGS***. F***. F***. F***. Yea so what I got a potty mouth…
It sure is an honor to get these noms. I know Bartholomew Cubbins would be real proud. I think he’s in the hospital for a little check up so not sure he’s been made aware yet. But you can send your well wishes + flowers to…”The Emerson Psychiatric Institute – Greenfield, Mass., 70032″
We are so incredibly grateful and humbled to be same company as the legendary Eminem + talented Miss Lady Gaga. Its not often MARS is in such prestigious company.
Yes, it may be a long shot considering we are up against some of the biggest acts EVER IN THE HISTORY OF MUSIC.
BUT… we will have fun with this battle and we will not go down without a fight! I wouldn’t be totally shocked if the ECHELON surprised a few people out there… And I’m not the only one…
And as I’ve said before… who knows – if you’re willing to walk the path of the dreamer, anything is possible.

Here’s a pic of people waiting to get into our Auckland, New Zealand show. I snuck up to this area and snapped it while no one was looking but then someone spotted me and all hell broke loose, ha! The show was epic, those kiwis know how to have fun!!!

Back in Asia again! Its been about three years since we have been back here and this is the first time we have been to Singapore. I took this photo from my balcony and just couldn’t believe how amazing looking this city is. All I could think of was this old book of drawings and paintings by an artist named “Sid Mead” that my dad had. This place could have been plucked right out of his books and placed here.
Such amazingly nice people, super clean streets, and damn good food too. It was great to finally play a show here after talking about it for so long. I really hope that we will come back here sooner than later and maybe do an entire Asia tour! Japan, here we come!!!

Russ from Ohio sent in this shot of his ceiling-grazing MarsHawk. Do YOU have a MarsHawk? Send your photo, name, and location to themarshawk@gmail.com for a chance to be featured in the next installment of Transmission!

Echelon of Spain killed two birds with one stone—forming their own Triad out of flyers prior to passing them out on the street, and posting them around town. Check it out below:

OMG! Thx 4 the Transmission! Lots of laughs & memories, too of the shows Down Under! Shannon you sneaky devil, I was there in Auckland when you snapped that pic–i’m still trying to locate myself in the crowd — I’d be the one with the American flag! Oh yea, me, the one who was at the Australia shows, at the airport & on the same flights as you guys! Who knew a petite brunette like me could have been such a ——– I’ll let you fill in the blank (please be kind when you do)! Jared keep up the Transmissions–what would be do w/o your potty mouth & warped sense of humor! And Tomo, keep being the nicest guy on the planet! I love you all! See you in the States & UK (and possibly Spain)!
Wow…how do people afford to travel around the world to see you guys? Going to couple of shows in the same area is hard for me. Add to it a couple of Green Day shows and I am broke. Are all these people independently wealthy? See you guys next month. Thankfully you have played 5 shows in my area since April. And your tix are still reasonable. Let’s see what they cost next tour, with this one being so successful. Hope you guys get bigger and bigger.
Guys I want to thank you so much for taking time out to have a chat at the Challenge Stadium gig here in Perth Western Australia, thank you so much for the photos & the sigs, my daughter(who is celebrating her 10th birthday today 10/08) still wont stop telling everyone I got her drumstick signed by Shannon lol. I was meant to get a tour poster signed so i could auction it off for charity but was rushed once again by a certain person whom I shall never take to another gig ever again(to hazardous to explain) anyways I still have next year at the SOUNDWAVE gig. I hope you liked your stay here in Perth as much as we enjoyed having you here, maybe next time your stay will be a bit longer so you can really enjoy Perth & its real beauty. Anyhoos Take Care, Stay Safe & see you all again next year.

Hey guys, that’s amazing, I’ve allready been voting for you. Almost got blisters on my fingers.
I can’t wait to see you guys here in Holland the 22th of august. I also want to congratulate you on your nominies. The album is great, the song is great and you guys are great. Hope we can enjoy your music for a long time after this.
Wish I could meet you guys in person to see what kind of people you are. The people behind the music, the ones that create the madness for everyone who loves your music.
For me the music is onething that let me dream my dreams, it reaches all over my body. It makes sure I’ll get through the day when the day is long.
So guys, thanx, I’m enjoying it.
Hope to see you guys soon.
Lots of hugs and kisses.

In that Auckland pick I was just at the back of the room, I thought I saw you (Shannon) in a black hoodie at the corner of the balcony, you had sunglasses on. I looked around to see if anyone else noticed then thought oh maybe its not Shannon haha. Then a little while later “all hell broke loose” like you said. hmmmmm? Anyway the show was amazing and when I got on stage that was my highlight of the evening. You (Shannon) were drenched in sweat…..loved it! Tomo was hiding behind his hair on the other side of the stage and Jared Was running back an forth across the stage with a bunch of excited kings and queens in between. I fucken loved it! best night of the life so far, can’t wait for a repeat! Please keep up with the Transmissions we all love them.
Lots of love from New Zealand ox
cool!!!!!!!!!!! =)
Hi guys!
Thank you thank you thank you! For coming to SINGAPORE! Yes Jared, country without any bubble gum on the sidewalks. I wished 30STM had more time to spend in Singapore. But I’m sure you did’nt give the chilli crab a miss? I really enjoyed 30STM at Singfest though I felt it was too short especially after standing for 5 hours waiting. Please come again! And I demand a full scale show! Hehe… LUV YOU GUYS!
Jared I had to laugh, when I read about Bartholomew Cubbins
I hope that He will be ok:D
I am very happy about your success and joyful touring energy! Fine, that you call Eminem a legend, because he is your bro-
ther. You even have more talent and musical sensitiveness. This is important for excellent stars. I am also very astoni-
shed about Shannons incredible drumming speedness! He must have made many, many exercises!! I red a book in which the older one of you two – is it Shannon? – was a child of desire of his mother and the younger one was wanted with urgent strong burning desire by his father…Very romantic!!
Since the thought of you living on the edge is very shocking for me I write you some letters to EMI. In the book you are secret princes of countries far away with very influential & rich families. So I wish you all a VERY GREAT SUCCESS!!!
HA! It was so awesome when you snuck up there Shannon! You really need to work on those ninja skills!
“all hell” was just the start to an EPIC night! Thanks so much for coming to NZ guys! I hope you liked New Zealand enough to decide to return to us!
We’ll be waiting with open arms!
Keep up the amazing work! x
