Today’s the big day — The Beatles Rock Band is out today in the US, EU, Singapore and selected territories! Harmonix, MTV Games, Apple Corps, and the rest of The Beatles Rock Band crew is proud to bring to rhythm gamers forty five historic music tracks and painstakingly recreated live shows and videos from the greatest Rock Band in history!
The Beatles Rock Band is available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the Nintendo Wii, and will be compatible with all existing Rock Band controllers, as well as most Guitar Hero and other third-party controllers.
The Beatles Rock Band Xbox 360
In a wonderfully generous move reminiscent of The Beatles and their message of love and hope, Harmonix has organized series of eBay charity auctions featuring custom painted Xbox 360s featuring scenes from the games awe-inspiring opening sequence.
Proceeds for the auctions will benefit Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières) which aims to provide medical aid to communities affected by armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care, or natural disasters.
For Xbox 360 owners who purchase The Beatles Rock Band, you can also download the track “All You Need is Love” for 160 Microsoft Points, and join a raffle to win one of the custom painted Xbox 360s featured above or a Rickenbacker 325 replica guitar controller. All proceeds from the download will also benefit Médecins Sans Frontières.
MTV Asia celebrates this milestone in music and gaming history with The Beatles Special, airing at these following dates and times (please check with your local cable operators for details):

if you (or your folks) love THE BEATLES, it’s a great game
The Beatles: Rock Band got great reviews from critics and from what I saw in the videos is pretty a done deal to get especially the replica controllers.
the great thing about this game is it’s brilliant not just a rhythm game for ROCK BAND addicts, it is also a wonderful way for older fans (who were teenagers when THE BEATLES first came out) to get into gaming.
